Edwardian Platinum-Topped Navette Diamond Ring

Step into 1910.

This authentic Edwardian navette ring is a breathtaking example of early 20th-century craftsmanship — handcrafted during the Belle Époque era when elegance was elongated, diamonds were cut by hand, and platinum was the most innovative metal in fine jewelry.

Measuring an impressive 26.27 mm long by 11 mm wide, this dramatic silhouette elongates the finger with unmistakable old-world sophistication.

At the center rests an antique cushion-cut diamond (4.5 x 4.6 mm) — softly squared, hand-faceted, and full of romantic brilliance. Surrounding it are a constellation of Old European cut and rose-cut diamonds, each individually set in platinum, creating approximately 2.25 carats total weight.

These are not modern machine-cut stones.
Each facet was shaped more than a century ago.

Details:

  • Era: Circa 1905–1915 (Edwardian)

  • Metal: Platinum top over 14kt yellow gold

  • Total Weight: 6.6 grams

  • Diamond Color: F–G

  • Diamond Clarity: SI1 or better

  • Head Size: 26.27 mm x 11 mm

  • Estimated Total Carat Weight: ~2.25 ctw

The platinum-topped setting was a hallmark of high-end Edwardian design — allowing jewelers to create delicate yet secure mountings that made diamonds appear whiter and brighter.

This piece has been professionally restored to preserve its integrity while honoring its antique character.
